- The Rosendale Historical Society was founded in 2000 to discover, preserve and publicize historical information about the Village of Rosendale and the surrounding area.
The Rosendale Historical Society revived Peony Sunday at the restored Peony Gardens one block north of the Hwy 23 and Hwy 26 intersection. Peony Sunday takes place the first or second weekend in June depending on expected blooming dates. Parking is available on Wisconsin and Lafayette Streets. Peony Garden magnets are for sale at Bluemkes Food Mart in Rosendale.
